Chapter 1153 - 615: Entrapment Operation! (Part 2)
[I’ve never seen them myself, but my old man told me about them. He’s got blood patterns on his body too, but he said the density of those Order Keepers’ blood patterns is way higher than his, looks scary as hell!]
[But these two, on their faces, necks, hands and all that, there’s no blood pattern at all! Not a single speck!]
[Don’t tell me...]
He sized up Xu Xin and Xu Ying, the more he thought about it, the more he felt he’d been played.
He immediately pointed at the two of them and started cursing: "Fuck, Order Keepers don’t look like you at all, you two are clearly sent by some other World Tree to mess with me!"
"Fuck fuck fuck, I knew it. No matter how we messed with those low‑level humans before, the Order Keepers never showed any intention of stepping in. How the hell could they suddenly show up now to meddle in our business!"
[Those Order Keepers would never bother with how we treat Survivors. To them these fucking Survivors are just a bunch of lab mice that can die whenever, who cares!]
"Who the hell are you! Why are you giving me trouble! And where the hell is this?!" the man roared.
[Motherfucker, if I had a weapon in my hand I’d pop these two retards with one shot! Too bad my storage device got wrecked in the time‑space turbulence! Fuck!]
Xu Xin was feeling a bit of a headache at this point.
He hadn’t expected this guy to see through them.
But the difference in blood patterns really was too big; there was no way to cover that up.
Still, from the man’s inner voice just now, he’d picked up a piece of information.
The guy had mentioned that his father also had blood patterns.
Which meant his father had also gone through blood‑pattern mutation.
And earlier he’d said he only got a World Tree because of connections, and that when he ran into "Order Keepers" the first thing he thought of was asking his father for help. That showed his father’s status had to be pretty high.
So his father’s identity was basically obvious.
Most likely, he was one of that batch of Survivors from a thousand years ago—one of the people in charge of helping the alien invaders colonize this entire planet!
Living from a thousand years ago until now, his age was even three times Xu Ying’s. Definitely an old monster.
And the man in front of them was that old monster’s descendant.
No wonder he could use his connections to snatch control of a World Tree.
His thoughts flashed by in an instant. He was just about to choose his words and figure out what to say to dig out more information when the man started mouthing off again.
"Impersonating Order Keepers, you guys must have a death wish! If I spread this around... heh heh! Tell you what."
The man’s gaze moved to Xu Ying, raking up and down her body as he clicked his tongue. "You’ve got a pretty nice body, everything that should be there is there. Keep me company for a night, and I’ll keep my mouth shut about this."
Hearing that, Xu Xin’s face instantly darkened and his fists clenched on the spot.
But Xu Ying moved faster than he did.
Her figure flickered, and she slammed a punch straight into the man’s stomach!
Her punch was so fast Xu Xin didn’t even react in time, and the power behind it left him a bit dumbfounded.
Because the man actually flew straight out!
"Aaah—!"
The man’s agonized scream quickly grew distant, then ended with a smack as he hit the ground more than ten meters away. He curled up on the ground clutching his stomach, rolling in pain and continuing to shriek.
"Uh..."
Xu Xin glanced at Xu Ying, who was withdrawing her fist, and the corner of his mouth twitched slightly.
That was a bit much...
He’d been sent flying over ten meters!
Fortunately this guy wasn’t an ordinary human; otherwise that one punch alone would’ve been enough to shatter all his internal organs!
Getting hit by a speeding car wouldn’t necessarily send you flying that far...
Xu Ying blinked at Xu Xin with an innocent look. "Relax, he won’t die."
Then she walked over to the man, looking down at him from above. "Watch your mouth, vermin. Weren’t you asking for proof? Does that punch count as proof?"
The man, still clutching his stomach on the ground with snot and tears all over his face, looked up at her, eyes full of terror.
The power of that punch was insane!
Xu Ying’s physical abilities were extremely strong. After all, she’d lived for three hundred years, and thanks to her organization’s own research, she’d been continuously strengthening herself.
As for those "Order Keepers," sure, they could get support and tech from the alien invaders, but it’s not like the aliens would hand over their most advanced stuff.
So when it came to physical capability, Xu Ying was definitely not weaker than the Order Keepers, maybe even stronger.
That said, she couldn’t be completely sure right now. In her own timeline, she absolutely outclassed the Order Keepers there—but... the Order Keepers in that timeline were only three hundred years old.
Whereas the Order Keepers in this world had gone through a thousand years of modifications. Whether they were stronger than her, she honestly didn’t know.
But there was one thing both sides had in common: either way, their strength far outstripped the man in front of her, and that was enough.
The guy didn’t even have any storage tools on him, couldn’t pull out a single weapon. There was literally nothing to worry about in terms of what he could do.
"You... you... urgh..."
The man gagged up sour bile, then scrambled backwards in terror. "Don’t come any closer. You might be strong, but you’re not Order Keepers. We’re not allowed to kill each other! If you do anything to me and draw those Order Keepers over here, you are so screwed!"
